Artist Statement
Being an artist is
fulfilling the need to create. When I work I am constantly
envisioning the final artistic result while capturing the
initial images. The greatest reward is knowing that future
generations will see your wedding and lifestyle through the
eyes and experience of your photographic artist.
 Mr.
Buxton presently serves as Chairman of the Board of the
Maryland Professional Photographers Association, member of the
Board of the Trustees of the Mid Atlantic School of
Professional Photography in Cape May N.J., member of the
Professional Photographers of America, and has been inducted
into the American Society of Photographers.
Over the last 20 years he has achieved numerous awards
including Best in Show 12 times from the Maryland Professional
Photographers Association, Wedding Photographer of the year 3
times, Commercial Photographer of the year ~ first runner up,
and the “Oscar " of photography, the Kodak Gallery Award a
total of three times in both wedding and Digital imaging
artistry, and been displayed in Kodak’s EPCOT Pavilion in
Orlando on three different occasions. Buxton Photography has
been featured on MSNBC, Lifetime Television, and Good Morning
America. Mr. Buxton holds the advanced degrees of Fellow of
Photography, Certified Professional Photographer, and Master
of Photography.
